1. I bought a red hunting cap; it's my people shooting hat. Whenever I wear it in public, I feel like Holden does with it on backwards: stupid. 2. Listened to the Japanese adaptation of the Jane Eyre Musical. I already listened to the English version, so I decided 'What the heck?' The only problem is I know about as much Japanese as I have fingers on my toe. 3. Read 650 page "Intro to Logic" college textbook. For fun. Did it help with drawing circle diagrams? HECK YEAH! Why Classics?

I'm writing this because I promised. I don't think people honestly care about why I am the way I am, except when they are able to look at me and see a mirror, and in it, their own image. I don't have a problem with that, but for those still reading, the glass might be bit cracked. As to the title of this post: my writing is profoundly influenced by what I read. And because I'd rather not sound like a carbon copy of Stephanie Meyer, I try to stay away from YA, unless I can be guaranteed it isn't, to me at least, demonstrating 'How to Use Language Both Incorrectly and Ineffectively.' I also find most YA books very fickle; they are those girls
